A rip-roaring evening with two Stroud Legends..... Films, Stand Up Poetry & Music is coming to the Sub Rooms on Saturday March 26th. The Last Cuckoo, a film by Mark Chaudoir about Dennis Gould, Stroud Poet, Activist, Letterpress Artist, Cyclist and Lover of the Beautiful Game takes centre stage alongside an exciting evening of films including Elvis McGonagall’s hilarious shorts & Chaudoir’s films featuring the best of UK’s Stand Up Poets: Bang Said the Gun, Kae Tempest, Rob Auton and Keith Jarrett. BBC Radio 4’s & Stroud Poet, Elvis McGonagall will MC the night & perform a stand-up poetry set along with Jonny Fluffypunk, The Riff Raff Poets Dennis Gould and Jeff Cloves. The evening concludes with music from Elvis McGonagall and the Resurrectors. It promises to be an unforgettably, eccentric and fun night at Sub Rooms
