Stroud Film Festival, working together with Stroud District Action on Plastic (SDAP), has pledged to minimise the usage of single use plastic at this year’s festival, as part of our wider commitment to sustainability.

In particular, the venues and organisations in this year’s festival aim, wherever possible, to:

• Use reusable crockery/cutlery/glassware for serving food and drink and invite festival goers to bring their own cups, and to sell plastic free snacks

• Choose plant-based alternatives over single use plastic, and ensure these are disposed of appropriately

• Where single use plastic is unavoidable, to ensure appropriate collection and recycling.

We have also considered sustainability in our marketing for the festival, minimising the use of lamination and creating reusable/reusing marketing materials where possible.
