The Good Grief Project presents three films exploring how we talk about love and death.
An extraordinarily diverse selection of documentaries with all the filmmakers present to discuss their work. Salter’s award winning film is a poignant reflection on death and the fragility of life but also a view on what it is like to be young and alive; a tender elegy to first love, friendship and caring for the dead. Harris and Edmonds give us an insiders’ view of two bereaved parents as they negotiate their way through Mexico’s Day of the Dead while Laid Bare is a short film about Anne-Marie and her daughter Martha who died age 15 from an accidental ecstasy overdose.
